We offer a wide variety of events, clubs and outings to keep life fun and interesting on a daily basis! There is every opportunity to enjoy life here with old friends and new.
Social
At The Overlook, we regularly host events to bring residents together and to promote fun.
Friday Mingle
On Friday nights from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, we serve hors d’oeuvres and you bring your favorite drink!
Acoustic Friday
If you love the authentic vibe of acoustic music, this is the event for you. Held one Friday a month from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.
Concerts in the Courtyard
Our summer concert series are on Fridays at 7 pm. Kick off your weekends with live bands, great friends and drinks!
Active
To encourage you to get out and get moving, we offer a number of opportunities that focus on activity and fitness — and many are lead by residents who are passionate about what they do.
Tennis Club
Calling all tennis lovers, tennis continues every Saturday morning at 10 am. See you on the courts!
Walking Club
Come work your body and mind with this nature-loving group.
Garden Club
Exercise your green thumb in our community garden. Bring your gardening gloves!

Studies have shown that learning a new language, a new technique or a new experience helps keep your brain healthy and improves memory retention. Some of those offerings are:
Fall Scholar in Residence Program
Visiting scholars from different disciplines facilitate workshops at The Overlook.
Lecture Series
Topics include history, art and music.
Creative Arts
Quilting, scrapbooking, knitting, beer crafting and tasting — if you love to “create” we’ve got clubs and classes just for you. Bring your talent and passion and spend time with others who share the same interests.
Brew Crew
Get your hops on with The Overlook Brew Crew. This club crafts their own beer while endeavoring to master brewing through practice and education.
Art & Conversation
Gather to discuss art, sculpture, writing and more. A great time to create while enjoying stimulating conversation!
