We are a Masonic senior living community passionate about working in healthcare and serving the active aging community.
Mission
We believe in empowering individuals to realize their potential where they live and work.
Values
We value Integrity, Grace, Respect for Individual Choice, Compassion, and Innovation.
Vision
We are changing our organization from provider-driven to person-driven, transforming how individuals age.
Come home to exceptional retirement living
For over 100 years, The Overlook has provided a continuum of care and health services for Massachusetts residents and their families. Today, The Overlook tailors to individuals with a wide variety of needs – from independent living to enhanced assisted living, to memory care, skilled nursing, and hospice.
Our culture of service and excellence
We strive to enhance the lives of residents, patients, and clients every day. By providing quality care with compassion, respect, and dignity in every interaction, we become more than caregivers – we become an extended part of a resident’s family. When you entrust us with your care and services, you can expect the following:
A timely response to your requests
We listen attentively to your questions and observations and adjust treatment plans to reflect new information. We follow through on treatment coordination, provide feedback, and educate you along the way. Good communication is one of the most important elements of providing quality care.
Excellent customer service
We strive to meet the expectations of residents, patients, and clients. Challenges will arise from time to time, but we are committed to promptly responding in order to address and resolve your concerns.
Your close involvement with care planning
A care plan meeting, including various members of our healthcare team, residents/patients/clients, and their families, will be held to reveal transparency and improve communications and outcomes.
Specialized treatment
Different areas of care require specialized focus on specific conditions. Whatever the condition, we have the necessary experience and skills to provide great care.
Respect for resident/patient/client rights
It’s important to be respectful of the independence of those who reside and receive care in our community. Each individual has the right to accessibility, availability, continuity of care, dignity, privacy, safety, and confidentiality.
A safe and secure atmosphere
The Overlook has strict supervision on campus and safeguards against fire, smoke, and other hazards. We take adequate steps to ensure residents are comfortable living in their homes and exploring our community.
High-quality living
We work hard to improve every aspect of life for residents, patients, and clients, lead with love, and provide personalized and professional services to ensure an improved quality of life is lived each day.
